Tribulus terrestris is an Indian origin herbaceous plant whose fruit has been prescribed for centuries by various traditional medicines. Ayurveda, also the therapists of ancient Greece, recommended it to treat sexual dysfunction.

Tribulus is rich in steroidal saponins, active ingredients that increase the follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) necessary for the proper functioning of the ovaries and testicles. According to numerous studies, the standardized extract of Tribulus acts on both the androgen receptor and nitric oxide synthase (NOS), present in the brain areas that regulate sexual functions.

Thus, Tribulus increases libido and improves sexual activity in both men and women.

• In men, Tribulus extract increases testosterone levels, also Sertoli cell density, thereby stimulating spermatogenesis (viability and tenacity of spermatozoids) and improving erectile function.
• In women, Tribulus extract creates a synergy with the FSH-LH mechanism necessary for ovulation and the production of progesterone and estrogens, such as oestradiol. The concentration of the latter increases with the help of Tribulus, allowing a decrease in frigidity and menopausal symptoms.

Thanks to its saponins, Tribulus is also a powerful tonic. It balances the immune system, and optimizes the synthesis of proteins and cholesterol, allowing a renewed energy and dynamism, for a better physical resistance.

For 1 capsule: 300 mg extract of Tribulus titrated in 95% saponins, maltodextrine, vegetable-based capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
This product does not contain allergens nor genetically modified organisms (in accordance with Directive 2003/89/EC)
