DMAE

DMAE (chemically N-dimethyl-2-aminoethanol) is a natural organic compound, present in some fish. Effective anti-aging, it protects the skin and neurons from premature aging.

DMAE is a choline precursor, an essential nutrient grouped with the B vitamins and needed for cardiovascular and liver functions.

Activator of Memory and Learning

In addition, choline improves nervous system and helps fight depression. DMAE stimulates its natural production and allows the synthesis of the neurotransmitter from the choline, the acetylcholine, which is essential for the proper functioning of memory and learning.

Antioxidant power

With age, an erosion pigment, composed of molecular residue, it’s accumulated in postmitotic cells, such as neurons: the lipofuscin. As it’s not easy degraded, it causes the appearance of skin blemishes due to aging and macular degeneration (retinal disease). DMAE reduces the presence of lipofuscin, improving the functioning of cells and delaying aging. In addition, DMAE prevents oxidative stress by neutralizing free radicals.

By stimulating the production of collagen and myofibroblasts, DMAE improves plasticity and firmness of the skin. Several studies have shown that it increases dermal thickness, strengthens collagen fibers, defines the shape of the lips and reduces periorbital wrinkles and forehead.
